Micro Wave Caramel Corn Recipe
- 6 quarts. popped corn
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 2 sticks butter
- 1/2 c. Karo syrup
- 2 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- Spray of liquid Mazola
- Put ingredients in 2 qt kettle and boil 5 min.
- Then add in baking soda and stir down.
- Spray inside of large paper bag.
- Put corn in bag and pour in warm syrup.
- Put in microwave oven on high for 1 1/2 min, then shake.
- Into oven 1 1/2 more min.
- Shake.
- Then 30 seconds heat.
- Shake.
- One more 30 seconds in oven.
- Shake.
- Corn finished.
- Very good.
