Bluegrass Mai Tai
- Crushed ice
- 1 ounce bourbon, preferably Makers Mark
- 1 ounce bonded rye whiskey, preferably Rittenhouse 100
- 1/2 ounce Grand Marnier
- 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 ounce orgeat (almond-flavored syrup)
- Powdered sugar and 1 mint sprig, for garnish
- Fill a cocktail shaker with crushed ice.
- Add the bourbon, rye whiskey, Grand Marnier, lemon juice and orgeat and shake well.
- Pour the drink unstrained into a chilled double rocks glass and add more crushed ice.
- Sift powdered sugar over the mint sprig and garnish the drink.
