Fiesta Taco Bake
- 1-1/2 lb. (675 g) extra-lean ground beef King Sooper's 1 lb For $3.99 thru 02/09
- 115 g Velveeta Process Cheese Product, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
- 1/4 cup water
- 3/4 cup salsa
- 1 pkg. (125 g) taco shells (12 shells), coarsely crushed
- 1/2 cup Cracker Barrel Shredded Tex Mex Cheese
- Heat oven to 350F.
- Brown meat in large skillet.
- Add Velveeta and water; cook 3 to 5 min.
- or until Velveeta is completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring frequently.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in salsa.
- Spray 8-inch square baking dish with cooking spray.
- Place 1/3 of the crushed taco shells in prepared dish; top with half the meat mixture.
- Repeat layers.
- Top with remaining crushed taco shells; sprinkle with shredded cheese.
- Bake 25 min.
- or until heated through.
