Plum tomatoes roasted with fresh basil Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 450 F.
  2. Cut tomatoes in half lengthwise, remove the seeds, and arrange on sheet pan cut side up.
  3. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
  4. Cover evenly with garlic, sugar, salt and pepper.
  5. Roast for 25-30 minutes, until slightly caramelized.
  6. Sprinkle the basil over and serve warm or at room temperature.
