Pork loin stove top
- 1 tbsp rose petals
- 3 large stalks celery chopped
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1/2 stick butter
- 4 clove garlic cloves chopped
- 1/2 tsp ground sage
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp fenugreek seeds
- 4 quart water
- 2 tbsp nonpareil capers
- 5 lb pork loin
- 2 lb mixed vegetables, broccoli, cauliflower, orange and yellow carrots
- 1 1/2 tbsp File
- Put everything except mixed vegetables and file in a pot bring to boil covered.
- After 2 hours of boiling add mixed vegetables cover and continue cooking for 30 minutes.
- Add file stirring constantly for 3 minutes.
- Remove the pork loin and slice put back into the vegetables and broth.
- Cover and reduce to simmer
- Let cook 5 minutes add the File.
- Stir well.
- Cook covered 15 minutes take off the heat let sit 10 minutes.
- Serve, hope you enjoy!
- Optional: Serve with your favorite hot sauce you can freeze the extra broth.
