My Spicy Chili

  1. Brown ground beef in a large pot and drain the grease.
  2. In a seperate frying pan, put the chopped onion, garlic, and all the chopped peppers in olive oil over medium heat about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add to the meat the chili seasoning packets and mix into it until the meat is thoroughly covered.
  4. Then add the basil, chili powder, diced tomatoes, and tomato puree.
  5. Let it cook for about 5 minutes so the flavoring can start to absorb into the meat.
  6. Add the garlic, onion, and peppers into the chili pot and mix it in well.
  7. Add the beans.
  8. Let the chili cook on low for 2 hours over low- medium heat and stir on occasion.
  9. Once the chili has cooked, you can put salt to your liking.
  10. Enjoy :)
