Italian Chicken-Pasta Skillet
- 1 lb. (450 g) boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 small onion, cut into thin wedges
- 1 jar (650 mL) Classico di Napoli Tomato & Basil Pasta Sauce
- 2 cups elbow macaroni, cooked
- 1-1/2 cups Cracker Barrel Shredded Part Skim Mozzarella Cheese, divided
- Cook chicken in large skillet sprayed with cooking spray 5 min., stirring frequently.
- Add vegetables; cook 5 min.
- or until chicken is done, stirring occasionally.
- Add pasta sauce and macaroni; cook 5 min.
- or until heated through, stirring frequently.
- Stir in 1/2 cup cheese.
- Remove from heat.
- Top with remaining cheese; cover.
- Let stand 2 min.
- or until cheese is melted.
