Cranberry Blondie Bars with Cream Cheese Frosting

  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Line 8-inch square pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides.
  3. Spray with cooking spray.
  4. Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
  5. Break 6 oz.
  6. chocolate into small pieces; place in large microwaveable bowl.
  7. Add butter.
  8. Microwave on HIGH 1-1/2 min.
  9. or until butter is melted; stir until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended.
  10. Add granulated sugar; mix well.
  11. Blend in eggs.
  12. Add flour mixture; mix well.
  13. Pour into prepared pan.
  14. Bake 25 to 30 min.
  15. or until toothpick inserted in center comes out with fudgy crumbs.
  16. (Do not overbake.)
  17. Cool completely.
  18. Melt remaining chocolate as directed on package.
  19. Beat cream cheese in small bowl with mixer until creamy.
  20. Blend in chocolate.
  21. Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing well after each addition.
  22. Use foil handles to remove dessert from pan; discard foil.
  23. Frost dessert with cream cheese mixture; top with cranberries.
