Grandma Helen's Cinnamon Apples

  1. Mix water and sugar in a 5 quart Dutch Oven and bring to a boil over medium high heat.
  2. Add the candies and stir until dissolved.
  3. When dissolved, reduce the heat and add the apples in a single layer, turning them often and gently.
  4. Cook for about 15 minutes or until tender.
  5. Serve warm or cold but enjoy them!
