French Country Sirloin

  1. Preheat the grill on medium high.
  2. Using your fingertips, rub the oil on both sides of the beef.
  3. In a small bowl, stir together the thyme, marjoram, rosemary, sage, pepper, and salt.
  4. Sprinkle over the beef.
  5. Gently press the mixture so it adheres to the beef.
  6. Grill the beef, covered, for 6 to 8 minutes on each side, or until the desired doneness.
  7. After the first 5 minutes, put the tomatoes and green onions on the grill.
  8. Grill, covered, for 8 to 10 minutes, or until slightly charred, turning several times to cook evenly.
  9. When the beef is done, transfer to a large plate.
  10. Cover the plate and set aside.
  11. When the tomatoes and green onions are done, transfer to a cutting board and coarsely chop.
  12. Spoon over the beef.
