Dole China Sun Pork Recipe
- 1 (20 ounce.) can pineapple chunks
- 3 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 pound boneless pork loin
- 2 tbsp. oil
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 teaspoon ginger root
- 1 onion wedges
- 2 med. carrots, slivered
- 1 green or possibly red pepper, slivered
- 2 c. snow peas
- Drain pineapple, reserve 3 Tbsp.
- juice.
- Mix juice with 1/2 c. water, soy sauce, cornstarch, vinegar and pepper; set aside.
- Cut pork in strips.
- Brown pork, add in garlic and ginger root.
- Add in carrots and onion, cook in 1 minute.
- Stir sauce, add in to pork with pineapple, bell pepper and snow peas.
- Cook till sauce boils and thickens.
