Just a Bit Spicy Shrimp Mayonnaise with Sweet Chili Sauce

  1. Peel and de-vein the shrimp.
  2. Sprinkle sake, salt, and pepper.
  3. Combine the sweet chili sauce, mayonnaise, and milk in a bowl and mix well.
  4. Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels.
  5. Coat with katakuriko and shake off any excess.
  6. Deep fry in 355F/180C oil, and drain well.
  7. Add the fried shrimp to the bowl from Step 2 and mix well.
  8. Done!
  9. This is the Thai sweet chili sauce I used.
  10. It's mild, rich, just a bit spicy, and delicious!
  11. It's not that spicy so my kids could eat it.
  12. (They're 5 and 6 years old.)
