Tasty Soup with Celery Leaves
- 4 stems' worth Celery leaves
- 1/2 medium Onion
- 1 Potatoes
- 5 cm Carrot
- 4 rashers Bacon
- 1 clove Garlic
- 50 grams You favourite macaroni
- 1 Bay leaf
- 1 Soup stock cube
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 dash Black pepper
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 1000 ml Water
- Roughly cut the celery leaves, and dice the onion, carrot and potato.
- Slice the bacon into 1 cm pieces and finely chop the garlic.
- Pour olive oil into a saucepan and fry the onion and garlic.
- Add the bacon, and when the oil starts to render, add the vegetables and fry.
- When everything has cooked evenly, add water and bay leaf.
- Skim off any scum, add the soup stock and macaroni, and simmer over low heat for 20 minutes.
- When the macaroni has softened, season with salt and pepper and it's done.
