Grilled Flank Steak, Mandarin Style
- 1 flank steak, scored*
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 to 2 tsp. fresh ginger root, minced
- 2 scallions, chopped
- 3 tbsp. light soy sauce
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. sesame oil
- 1 tbsp. dry sherry
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Hot red pepper flakes
- cayenne to taste**
- Combine all marinade ingredients.
- Marinate at least 1 hour or overnight (overnight is best).
- Grill to desired degree of doneness.
