  2. Soak in plenty of water for 3 to 4 hours.
  3. Thoroughly drain off the water.
  4. Spread out on a sieve or paper for about 1 hour to dry.
  5. Spread the rice out on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and bake in a preheated 200C oven for 10 to 15 minutes until bone-dry.
  6. You can toast it in a frying pan instead if you prefer.
  7. Once the rice is completely dry and crispy, let it fully cool on the baking sheet.
  8. When it's cool, if you can crush it easily with your fingers, it's done!
  9. If you are not using an oven: Leave to dry in a well ventilated location for 1/2 a day to a full day, until you can crush it easily with your fingers.
  10. When the rice is completely cooled, pulverize it in a food processor, or grind it up in a grinding bowl until it turns into a powder.
  11. Sift the powder with a sieve.
  12. Grind up the remaining coarse bits of rice again in a processor or with a pestle and mortar.
  13. This should give you a fine, powdery rice flour!
