Debbie's Date Balls
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 package dates
- 1 can coconut
- 1 cup nuts chopped
- 2 cups crisp rice cereal
- 1/2 cup margarine
- Combine sugars, dates, coconut and butter.
- Cook 2 to 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and add nuts and rice krispies.
- Butter hands, roll into balls and coat with powdered sugar.
