Grilled Chile Pepper Cheeseburgers

  1. In a medium bowl, combine green onion, yogurt, jalapenos, pepper and salt.
  2. Add beef and mix well.
  3. Shape beef mixture into 8 patties about 3/4 inch thick.
  4. Place wax paper between the patties and freeze in a 1-gallon freezer bag.
  5. To prepare, thaw patties in the refrigerator.
  6. Grill until no pink remains in the center.
  7. Turn once.
  8. Top each patty with cheese the last 2 minutes of grilling time.
