Apple - Pie Pockets

  1. In a large bowl.
  2. Combine 1 cup flour, yeast, sugar, salt.In a sausepan.
  3. Heat water & butter to 120 degrees -130 degrees .
  4. Add to dry ingredients.
  5. Beat just until moistened.
  6. Stir in enough remaining flour to form soft dough.
  7. Turn into floured surface.
  8. Knead until smooth & elastic 6-8 minutes.
  9. Cover & let rest 10 minutes.
  10. Divide dough into 4 portions.
  11. Roll each portion into 8" square.
  12. Cut into 4 squares.
  13. Cut apple slices into thirds.Toss with sugar, flour & cinnamon.
  14. Place a small amount in your squares.
  15. Bring up corners up over the filling .
  16. Pinch and seal.
  17. Secure with a toothpick if needed.
  18. Place 3" apart on baking sheet lightly spray.Cover and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.Brush with milk.
  19. Sprinkle with sugar.
  20. Bake 375 degrees .
  21. 12-14 minutes or until golden brown remove to wire racks to cool.
  22. Remove toothpicks.
