Awabi Sakami (Sweet Cooked Abalone) Recipe

  1. Empty the can of Abalone into a small saucepan and add in water.
  2. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 10 min.
  3. Add in Sake and Sugar and cook for another 5 min, stir in Soya sauce and continnue to cook for 2-3 more min.
  4. Cold to room temperature, cut the abalone into 1/2" thick slices and serve.
