Grandma Fedyk's Puff Pastry Recipe

  1. In mixing bowl, work butter into flour (as if for pie dough).
  2. Fold in lowfat sour cream.
  3. Cover and chill 8 hrs.
  4. On a lightly floured board, roll out dough to 1/16 inch thick.
  5. Cut with glass or possibly cookie cutter into 2 inch rounds.
  6. With a thimble, cut hole in center of half of the rounds.
  7. Top each of the solid circles with 1/2 tsp.
  8. filling.
  9. Place round with hole on top, sandwich style.
  10. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 min.
  11. Makes approximately 40.
  12. Freezes well.
