Poormans Steak

  1. Mix together the ground beef, bread crumbs, essence, salt, seasoned salt, 2 eggs, and oregano in a bowl.
  2. Press flat into a greased 8x10 pan or glass dish.
  3. Cut into six seperate pieces.
  4. Place in the freezer for half hour.
  5. Heat 1/4 cup of oil in skillet.
  6. Now we want to bread the patties, so mix the remaining egg and a bit of milk together and dip the patties into the mixture and then into some seasoned flour.
  7. Place the breaded patties into the skillet until both sides have a golden brown look, about two minutes on each side.
  8. Dont worry if they arent done in the middle, we arent done cooking them!
  9. Mix the mushrooms, mushroom soup, and half a cup of milk together.
  10. Place patties into a baking dish and pour soup mixture over them.
  11. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes and voila!
  12. They will eat it up!
