Moe, s Beef Curry with lime
- 50 grams Butter
- 1 tsp Ground Ginger
- 3 clove Garlic Crushed
- 1 large Onion Chopped
- 450 grams Cubed Beef,
- 2 tbsp Garam Masala Curry Powder.
- 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon the
- 1 tsp Tumeric
- 1/4 tsp Ground Cumin
- 2 cup Boiling Water
- 5 Chicken Stock cube
- 1 Red Pepper for Colour really.
- 1 tbsp Tomatoe Pure'e
- 3 tbsp Fresh Lime or Lime Juice
- 1 pinch Black Pepper.
- 1/4 cup boiling water
- 200 ml Double Cream
- In a fry pan or Wok heat the pan, put in your Butter melt slowly ,turn heat up and put Onions in to fry when softended , Add Garlic, Ginger and stir in .
- Add Beef, stir, then Curry Powder, Cinnamon, Tumeric and ground Cumin stir quickly then add the boiling water and chicken stock cube
- Transfer to a deep pan and when boiling turn heat right down to the lowest and let it simmer.
- Chop the pepper into small pieces and add to curry, stir in Tomatoe puree , pinch of Black Pepper and add the lime stir well and continue to stir occasionally so as not to stick to the pan.
- Cook for about 45 mins on low.
- Then add a extra water if it looks too thick stir and then add the Cream stir in and simmer and stir for a minute it should be thickened and ready to Serve.
- With Rice , potatoe fritters, or just Chapattis naan bread and a dip of mango chutney or plain yogurt.
