Mincemeat Easter Bread Recipe

• 1 1/2 c. flour
• 1 c. sugar
• 2 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 2 Large eggs, slightly beaten
• 3 tbsp. shortening, melted and cooled
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 1/2 c. mincemeat
• 1/2 c. minced nuts

1. Sift dry ingredients into a bowl.
2. In a smaller bowl combine Large eggs, shortening, and vanilla.
3. Stir in mincemeat and nuts.
4. Pour into dry ingredients and stir sufficient only to moisten flour.
