Barn Ribs Recipe
- 2 lb pork ribs
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper
- 1 c. unsweetened apple sauce
- 1/2 c. sugar free maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic pwdr
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Place ribs in an ovenproof dish and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Bake for 30 min, drain fat from pan.
- In a heavy saucepan, mix apple sauce, syrup, paprika, garlic pwdr and cinnamon.
- Over medium-high heat, bring the sauce to the boiling point and continue boiling for one to two min.
- Brush prebaked ribs liberally with the sauce.
- Bake for 30 min at 350 degrees.
- Turn ribs and bush underside with remaining sauce.
- Continue baking for another 10 min.
- This recipe yields 4 servings;
