Broiled Pineapple With Ice Cream

  1. Preheat broiler; set rack 6 inches from heat.
  2. Coat a broiler pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. Halve pineapple wedges lengthwise to make 8 spears.
  4. Lay spears on prepared pan.
  5. Cook, turning once, until golden brown and tender, 20 to 25 minutes.
  6. Divide among bowls; serve with vanilla ice cream or coconut sorbet.
