Salted Nut Roll Bars Recipe
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 c. miniature marshmallows
- 2/3 c. corn syrup
- 2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 (12 ounce.) pkg. peanut butter chips
- 2 c. Rice Krispies
- 2 c. Spanish peanuts
- Make crust from 2 egg yolks, 1 1/2 c. flour, 1/2 tsp.
- salt, 2/3 c. brown sugar, 1/2 tsp.
- baking pwdr, 1/2 c. butter and 1 tsp.
- vanilla.
- Pat into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 15 min.
- Remove from oven.
- Sprinkle marshmallows over crust.
- Return to oven.
- Broil for 1 to 2 min or possibly till puffy.
- Cold.
- Heat together 2/3 c. corn syrup, 2 tsp.
- vanilla, 1/4 c. butter and 12 ounces peanut butter chips.
- Blend well.
- Fold in Rice Krispies and peanuts.
- Spread over marshmallow layer.
- Cold.
- Freezes well.
