Baked Alaska Meat Loaf
- 1 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1 brown gravy mix
- 2 tsp minced onions
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 envelope instant mashed potato (4 serving)
- 1 tsp chives (optional)
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- In a large bowl mix ground beef, gravy mix, minced onion, and pepper together.
- Shape into a loaf, 2 inches high, in a shallow baking pan.
- Stir chives into prepared mashed potatoes.
- Evenly spread over meat loaf.
- If you don't pat the potato on well enough some may slide off during cooking.
- Bake 55 minutes or until cooked through.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake 2 minutes longer or until cheese melts.
- Serve & enjoy :)
