Smoked Oyster Stuffing

  1. Melt the butter.
  2. Add the onion and celery and saute until tender.
  3. Add the broth and heat.
  4. Pour over the croutons.
  5. Add the smoked oysters, oil and all.
  6. Mix.
  7. Pour into buttered pan and cover with buttered foil.
  8. Bake for 20 minutes at 350F then remove foil and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
  9. If you want to stuff your bird instead of baking, follow directions on crouton bag for amount of chicken broth as the stuffing will soak up the juices inside your turkey.
  10. The oysters will also give your turkey an additional hint of flavor.
