Creamed Chicken

  1. cut the chicken into 8 pieces.
  2. sprinkle salt and pepper, toss it in butter and fry for about 4-5 mins or until it turns golden brown on all sides.
  3. remove and set aside.
  4. add onions and fry till soft and light, add in the vegetables.
  5. fry for about 3-4 mins or until soft, add wine and simmer slowly.
  6. add chicken pieces, milk and little water.
  7. make a paste of cornflower and little water.
  8. pour to the sauce to thicken.
  9. simmer for about 4-5 minutes.
  10. serve with rice or mashed potatoes.
