Caramel Apple Breakfast Rolls Recipe

  1. Heat oven to 350i.
  2. Mix brown sugar and whipping cream in ungreased round pan, 8 x 1 1/2 inches, sprinkle with pecans.
  3. Unroll breadstick dough, but don't separate into breadsticks.
  4. Spread applesauce over dough.
  5. Roll up dough from short end; separate at perforations.
  6. Place coiled dough in pan.
  7. Bake 15 to 20 min or possibly till golden.
  8. Cold 1 minute.
  9. Invert pan onto heatproof tray or possibly serving plate.
  10. Let stand 1 minute so caramel will drizzle over rolls.
  11. NOTES : Regular applesauce can be used in place of the cinnamon-flavored, if desired; just stir 1/4 tsp.
  12. grnd cinnamon into the applesauce.
