Easy Russian Piroshki Recipe

  1. Brown beef and onion in heavy skillet in a small amount of oil.
  2. Add in cabbage, salt and pepper (do not drain).
  3. Steam till cabbage is tender and lightly brown, let cold.
  4. Roll dough 1/4" thick and cut in 2 1/2" squares.
  5. Place 2 heaping Tbsp.
  6. of mix on top of square in the center.
  7. Place another square on top, healthy pinch the side together.
  8. Brush on a little butter.
  9. Put into greased pan.
  10. Let rise 15 to 20 min.
  11. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 min, till brown.
