Barbecued Chicken Recipe

  1. Wash chicken and pat dry.
  2. Heat oil in saucepan.
  3. Add in onion and garlic and saute/fry for 5 min.
  4. Add in remaining ingredients except chicken.
  5. Simmer 20-30 min.
  6. Strain and set aside to cold.
  7. With a sharp knife, make small cuts in chicken pcs.
  8. Spoon cooled barbecue sauce over chicken and let stand for at least 1/2 hour.
  9. Heat broiler or possibly grill.
  10. Cook about 30-45 min, depending on size of chicken pcs.
  11. Baste frequently with barbecue sauce.
  12. Test for doneness by pricking chicken with skewer; if juice runs clear, chicken is done.
  13. Heat remaining sauce and serve separately.
