Hawaiian Banana Nut Bread Recipe
- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 c. minced nuts
- 3 Large eggs, beaten
- 1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- 2 c. ripe, mashed bananas
- 1 (8 ounce.) can liquid removed, crushed pineapple
- 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Combine dry ingredients; stir in nuts; set aside.
- Combine remaining ingredients and add in to dry mix.
- Stir just till batter is moist.
- Spoon batter into 2 greased and floured loaf pans.
- Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour and 5 min.
- Cold 10 min before removing from pans.
- Cold completely.
- Suggestion: Cut the oil in half and use the juice from the pineapple.
