Texas Red Chili Recipe

  1. In a Dutch oven, brown grnd beef and onion.
  2. Drain off fat.
  3. Add in vinegar and seasonings.
  4. Stir well.
  5. Add in tomato sauce, beans and water.
  6. Simmer over low heat 30 min.
  7. If you prefer thick chili, put 2 Tbsp.
  8. flour in a jar, add in 1/2 c. water, cover and shake till mixed.
  9. Pour into chili and stir well.
  10. Serve with slices of longhorn cheese, cool crisp apple and Pan de Lote.
  11. The next day put on warm dogs for a real Coney Island Dog.
