Steamed Broccoli with Fluffy Crab Sauce

  1. Cut the broccoli into bite sizes.
  2. Separate the crab meat and the brine and reserve the brine.
  3. Combine the A seasonings.
  4. Add the water and sake to the reserved brine to measure up to 150 ml.
  5. Add the chicken stock powder and salt.
  6. Mix the egg white and soy milk in a different container.
  7. Put the broccoli and the A seasonings in a frying pan and cover.
  8. Steam the broccoli until tender, stirring occasionally.
  9. Lift out the broccoli onto a serving plate.
  10. Tip the soup made with the brine into the same frying pan and bring to the boil.
  11. Add the crab meat and ginger and sprinkle with pepper.
  12. After Step 5 is heated thorough, add the katakuriko dissolved in water to thicken the sauce.
  13. Turn up the heat to medium and add the soy milk and egg white mixture from Step 6.
  14. Stir quickly and it's done.
  15. Pour the sauce over the broccoli.
