Sour Cherry Clafouti
- 3 cups frozen sour cherries, thawed, drained
- 1 whole egg
- 2 egg whites
- 1-1/2 cups thawed Cool Whip Light Whipped Topping
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. lemon zest
- Heat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Place cherries in 9-inch pie plate sprayed with cooking spray.
- Blend next 4 ingredients in blender until well blended.
- Add flour, sugar and zest; pulse 30 sec.
- or until well blended.
- Pour over cherries.
- Bake 20 min.
- Remove from oven.
- Heat broiler.
- Broil, 6 inches from heat, 2 to 3 min.
- or until top is puffed and golden brown.
- Let stand 10 min.
- before serving.
