Cuban Rice Recipe
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce.) French onion soup
- 2 (10 1/2 ounce.) beef broth
- 1 1/2 sticks butter
- 2 (3 ounce.) mushrooms, liquid removed
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 2 c. regular rice
- Spray casserole or possibly 9 x 13 pan with Pam.
- Combine all ingredients.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 1 hour, stir every 15 min.
- Makes 10-12 servings.
- Variation: substitute 1/2 c. long grain wild rice for 1/2 c. regular rice.
- Soak wild rice in hot water for 2 hrs before using.
