Gyros (greek meat fry)
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp dry basil
- 1 tsp dry rosemary
- 1 tsp dry parsley
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp dry tyme
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 2 lb pork
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
- Combine all spices.
- Remove undesired fat from meat and cut up into stripes about 1/4" thick and 2-3" long.
- Put into a bowl with a cover.
- Add about 1-2 tablespoons of seasoning and oil to meat and mix until all meat is coated.
- Cover bowl and let marinate for a few hours or overnight in the fridge.
- Stir every once in a while.
- Fry up on medium heat.
- Use in different gyros dishes.
