Deep Fried Jalapeno Slices
- 1 cup All-purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Chile Powder
- 2 whole Eggs
- 1 cup Beer
- 2 cups Vegetable/canola Oil
- 2 cups Canned Jalapeno Slices, Drained
- In a bowl, mix all ingredients together (except oil and jalapenos) to make the batter.
- Then in a deep fryer or large pot, heat oil to 265 degrees.
- Dip the sliced jalapenos in the batter.
- Place battered jalapenos in the deep fryer.
- The jalapenos are fully cooked when they float to the surface of the oil.
- They should be golden brown and crispy.
