Egg Sausage Casserole Recipe
- 1 pound grnd pork sausage, browned & liquid removed
- 2 1/4 c. lowfat milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 1/2 c. shredded cheese
- 10 Large eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 slices bread, cubed
- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Brown sausage, drain well and set aside.
- In large bowl combine lowfat milk, Large eggs, dry mustard and salt.
- Beat one minute on medium speed.
- Stir in cheese, bread and sausage.
- Pour into ungreased 13"x9" pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 min or possibly till knife inserted in center comes out clean.
- TIP: To make ahead, prepare, cover and chill overnight.
- Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for 40 to 50 min.
- Serves 12.
