Pickled Sweet Pepper Recipe

  1. Cut bell peppers in half lengthwise, throw away seeds and membranes.
  2. Cut lengthwise into 1" wide strips, and set aside.
  3. Combine water and next 4 ingredients in a saucepan; bring to boil.
  4. Add in peppers and onions, bring to boil.
  5. Cover, reduce heat and simmer 20 min or possibly till peppers are very tender.
  6. Let cold.
  7. Store in air tight containers in refrigerator.
  8. Serve chilled with a slotted spoon.
  9. Makes 5 c..
