BAKER'S GERMAN'S Chocolate Cupcakes with Bacon

  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Microwave chocolate and butter in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2 min.
  3. or until butter is melted.
  4. Stir until chocolate is completely melted.
  5. Add sugar; beat with mixer until blended.
  6. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing well after each.
  7. Blend in vanilla.
  8. Combine 1/2 cup flour, baking soda and salt.
  9. Add to chocolate mixture; mix well.
  10. Add remaining flour alternately with buttermilk, mixing well after each addition.
  11. Stir in bacon.
  12. Spoon into 24 paper-lined muffin cups.
  13. Bake 25 to 30 min.
  14. or until toothpick inserted in centers comes out clean.
  15. Cool cupcakes in pans 10 min.
  16. Remove from pans to wire racks; cool completely.
  17. Frost with Easy Coconut-Pecan Filling & Frosting.
