Slovak Kolacky Recipe

  1. Work cream cheese, butter, flour and salt as for pie crust.
  2. Moisten with lowfat milk.
  3. Knead lightly till smooth.
  4. Divide dough into 4 balls.
  5. Wrap in wax paper and chill overnight.
  6. Sprinkle some flour and granulated sugar on board.
  7. Roll out each ball fairly thin and cut into 1 1/2 inch squares.
  8. Place 1 tsp.
  9. of filling in center and squeeze 2 opposite corners together.
  10. Bake on a greased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 6 to 8 min or possibly till light brown.
  11. When cold, dust with powdered sugar.
