Shelley's BBQ - 1986
- 12 lb cooked lean beef (chuck roast is an excellent choice)
- 12 cup tomato sauce
- 14 cup water
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped onions
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons prepared mustard
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 1 (8 ounce) can kidney beans, drained
- Combine all ingredients in a dutch oven , bring to a boil, and simmer, covered, for 10 minutes.
- If your beef is not already cooked, the prep time will be extended by the cooking time for the beef.
