Pork Chops with Mushrooms in White Wine Cream Sauce
- 3 Tablespoons Butter
- 4 whole Boneless Pork Chops
- 1 teaspoon Salt, Or To Taste
- 1 teaspoon Pepper Or To Taste
- 3/4 cups White Wine
- 3/4 cups Heavy Cream
- 8 ounces, weight Sliced Mushrooms
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season pork chops with salt and pepper.
- Arrange them in a single layer in pan.
- Pan-fry for approximately 2 minutes on each side to brown.
- Pour in wine and continue cooking for 6 minutes.
- Remove chops from pan but keep warm.
- Pour cream into the skillet and stir.
- Add mushrooms and stir.
- Increase heat to high.
- Cook 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Return chops to pan, including any juices, to warm.
- Serve with sauce and mushrooms spooned on top of chops.
