Creamy Ham Fettuccine (Quick and Easy)
- 1 (12 ounce) package fettuccine
- 3 tablespoons onions, finely chopped
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon all-purpose flour
- 3 cups heavy whipping cream
- 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 2 12 cups ham, fully cooked, cubed
- 1 cup parmesan cheese, shredded, divided
- 12 teaspoon garlic salt, may increase to 3/4 or 12 teaspoon add 1/4 garlic powder
- 14 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
- 14 teaspoon oregano, dried
- 14 teaspoon nutmeg, ground
- Cook fettuccine according to package directions.
- Meanwhile, in a saucepan, saute onion in butter until tender.
- Stir in flour until blended.
- Gradually stir in cream.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
- Add broccoli.
- Reduce heat; simmer uncovered, for 7-10 minutes or until broccoli is crisp-tender, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in ham, 1/2 cup Parmesan, garlic salt, pepper, oregano, and nutmeg.
- Drain pasta; top with sauce.
- Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
