Homemade Gingerbread Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Cream together sugar & butter.
  3. Beat in egg.
  4. Mix in Molasses.
  5. In a medium bowl sift together the flour, spices, salt, and baking soda.
  6. Twice.
  7. Blend the Flour mix into the Molasses mix, alternating hot water and flour mix till everything comes together.
  8. Mix together thoroughly for 3 minutes.
  9. Pour into 9 inch greased pan.
  10. Bake for 1hour.
  11. Cool.
  12. Cut.
  13. & Serve with sifted powdered sugar.
  14. Add whipped cream.
  15. Eat.
  16. Enjoy.
