Bourbon Street Pie Recipe
- 1 x 9" pie shell or possibly crust
- 1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs
- 1 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 c. butter melted filling
- 1 lrg egg separated
- 4 1/4 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. bourbon
- 3/4 c. pecans minced coarsely
- 1/2 pt heavy cream whipped
- 1/2 tsp vanilla cinnamon
- CRUST-Mix all, put in pan and bake at 325 for 6 to 8 min.
- Refrigeratebefore filling.
- FILLING-Beat white and beat yolk for 1 minute.
- Combine.
- Add in sugar, bourbon and pecans.
- Mix in cream and vanilla.
- Pour in shell.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon.
- Freeze and serve frzn.
