Barbecued Black Eyes Recipe

  1. Cook peas in boiling water with salt till peas are barely tender, add in water if necessary.
  2. Pour off half of liquid.
  3. Brown grnd beef and onion; add in to peas.
  4. Stir in barbecue sauce, mustard and sugar.
  5. Bake at 200 degrees for 1 to 1 1/2 hrs.
  6. Yield: 4 to 6 servings.
