Harvest Loaf Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. Grease bottom of loaf pans.
  3. Combine flour, soda, salt and spices.
  4. Cream butter in large mixing bowl. Gradually add sugar; beat at high speed of mixer until light and fluffy.
  5. Blend in eggs; beat well.
  6. At low speed add dry ingredients.
  7. Blend well after each addition.
  8. Stir in chocolate chips and 1/2 cup walnuts.
  9. Pour into pan.
  10. Sprinkle with remaining nuts.
  11. Bake for 65 to 75 minutes until cake tests done. Insert toothpick in center of loaf; done when comes out clean.
